BHN was founded in Nigeria as Blackwood Hodge, a subsidiary of John Blackwood Hodge UK, in 1948. It was originally set up for sales & service of earthmoving, mining & road works equipment. In 1973 it was listed on Lagos Stock Exchange and the reigns of leadership passed on totally to Tolaram Group in 1991.
In 2001, the business model was re-engineered to provide haulage and logistics services to our customers. Our logistics services are designed to ensure that each and every step of your logistics chain is carefully coordinated and managed; our professional team ensures that your goods always get to their designated location and more importantly to keep that smile on your face.
